Ledger Rankings
Ledger uses a simple member ranking system that's rewards participation, this system is called Forum Designation, and includes Member, Trusted Member, Contributor, Expert, Moderator and Admin.
All designations are given by Admin in the Member section of admin.
Designation isn't automatic.
We are working on a post amount badge too.
Member
Can post and reply anywhere in the forums, and use the following features
- Mark forum posts as helpful
- Rate Documents
- Mark Documents as “Needs Improvement”
- Add a Background / perspective in profile
- Add a short summary in the “Why I'm Here” in profile
Members do not have a special badge next to their name.
Trusted Member
Same as a Member, but on the way to becoming an Expert or Moderator, this will vary from site to site.
For this site, it means that the member has been here for a while, is helpful, respectful of other members, and provides real value to the community.
Trusted Members show a green badge next to their names in forum posts.
Contributor
Same as a Member but has donated to Ledger project.
Contributor Members show a blue badge next to their names in forum posts.
Moderator
Same as Member, but can edit and delete forum posts, issue warnings and suspend members.
Moderator Members show a red badge next to their names in forum posts.
Expert
Same as Member and Moderator, but can modify documents.
Expert Members show a red badge next to their names in forum posts.
Admin
Full site access to everything.
Admin displays a black badge to their names in forum.
Is this document high quality? Or does it need improvement? High ranking articles display in the footer, admin notified if improvements required.
