Ledger Manifesto
You’re looking at a Ledger.
If you arrived here via a "Powered by Ledger" link, you’ve discovered a Ledger instance.
What is it?
Ledger is a private, portable "Second Brain" for teams and individuals. It is a place to document, discuss, and store knowledge without surrendering your data to a cloud corporation.
Why I built this (The "Anti-Cloud" Mission)
Most modern software is a "SaaS Trap." They want your email, your credit card, and your data before you even see the UI. Ledger is the opposite:
- Zero-Install: It runs from a folder on Windows. No installers, no registry bloat.
- Zero-Cloud: Your data stays where you put it. You own the database, the files, and the privacy.
- Portable by Design: Move your entire documentation suite on a USB stick or sync it to your own private Git repo.
- 'Zero-Bloat' Stack: It has a tiny 1.6MB footprint and achieves a perfect Google PageSpeed 100 score.
Built for the "Real World"
I’m a developer who hates friction, so I built "Self-Healing" logic directly into the stack:
- Proof of Life: If you check the GitHub Commits, you’ll see the stack auto-updating in real-time. This project isn't just "built"—it's alive and maintained.
- A "Swiss Army Knife" Ecosystem: This stack is built on the same core logic as my other tools, designed to handle heavy-duty data while remaining lightweight.
Use it. Fork it. Own it.
I want you to use this tool to build something great.
- It is free to use. Forever.
- It is free to modify. If you want to change the code or remove the branding, the source is open for you to do so.
- It is yours.
I'm playing the long game. I'd rather you have a tool that works than a subscription you don't need.
Founding Vision:
Built by a developer who values your time, your privacy, and your independence.
